George Fletcher is an entrepreneur who has been in the Security & Technology sectors for 30+ years, involved in multiple start-ups, primarily in Sales, Business Development, and Strategic planning. His career spans a number of regions: South Africa, Canada, South Pacific, and Latin America. Over the past 8 years he has co-founded or been involved in ventures that include Real Estate, Home Health and Technology, two trade shows, and a boutique travel company.

From 2006-2011 he helped build Expo Seguridad Mexico, Latin America’s premier Security technology exhibition in Mexico, and assisted in negotiating the sale to Reed Exhibitions, the world’s largest event organizer. 

Prior, he co-founded Tronex International Security, a Master Distributor specializing in servicing the Latin American Security market. He led the company from $0 – US $21 Million in Revenues, accumulating over $100 million in Security product sales, and establishing a Distributor network in over 25 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. In the process, the company effectively positioned DSC as the # 1 selling Intrusion systems line in the region.

He has also completed consulting projects with at least four different organizations, including market research, focus groups, business plan development, due diligence for an exit, and an analysis of sales and marketing channels.

George has a Small Business Management Diploma from Damelin in South Africa. He also completed courses that include: Strategic Marketing at Harvard Business School, Miller Heiman Conceptual & Strategic Selling, Effective Negotiation strategies from the Karrass Institute, Business Planning at University of Miami, Stephen Covey Institute, and Dale Carnegie Sales and Human Relations.

He is a former Treasurer and Vice-President of SIA (Security Industry Association), and a co-founder and Director of ALAS (Latin American Security Association). In September of 2007 George Fletcher was awarded the George L. Lippert memorial award by SIA (Security Industry Association) for service to the Industry. He is also a former Big Brother and is co-founder of “Mission 500”, a Security Industry charity which supports children and families around the USA. 

He has lived on four continents (South America, North America, Europe and Africa) and is Multi-lingual: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Afrikaans (all spoken and written) and some French. Hobbies include: Sailing, Soccer, Skiing and Travel. He has traveled to over 50 countries on 5 continents and considers himself a truly global citizen. He resides in Boca Raton with his wife Andrea and sons Derek & Kyle.
