Prior to joining Meredith Mergers Marty Gleason held the following positions: In 1993 he co-founded Hemophilia Resources of America – a $65 million specialty provider of blood clotting factor and other services to hemophilia patients. He and his partner sold 60% of Hemophilia Resources of America to Summit Partners in December of 1999. He continues to be a non-active 20% shareholder. From 1985 to 1992 he held the following positions with Ernst & Young: Regional Director of Healthcare Consulting – New York Region, Regional Director of Healthcare Consulting – Northeast Region, Partner In Charge of New York / New England, Healthcare Consulting Practice, Partner In Charge of New York Region Healthcare Consulting and New Jersey Audit Practice, Partner In Charge of New Jersey Healthcare Audit and Consulting Practice. From 1968 to 1985 he was Partner In Charge of Missouri Healthcare Audit and Consulting Practice, and Partner – New Jersey Healthcare Audit and Consulting Practice with KPMG Peat Marwick. He previously was on the Board of Directors of the Children s Specialized Hospital in Westfield, NJ and the Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ. Mr. Gleason earned his BS in Accounting and his MBA in Finance at Seton Hall University.
