Prior to joining Meredith Mergers Raymond P. Wenig held various positions within the technology industry. He is highly skilled in the delivery of technology consulting and management training on diverse issues and concepts involving information systems, software, telecommunications, knowledge management and other advanced systems applications. Mr. Wenig created, authored and produced over 300 training programs on technology concepts and practical steps to design, develop, and deploy technology applications and solutions. He worked with Toucan Capital Corporation of Bethesda, MD ($200 Million) in the evaluation of new telecommunications technology start-up ventures. He was active on a technology evaluation team developing and completing mergers and acquisitions through D. H. Blair and Company and Electronic Cash Systems, Inc. Mr. Wenig assisted Riker-Maxson, Inc. (Nasdaq) ($70 Million) and PMI, Inc. in the evaluation and planning of software provider acquisitions. He participated as a senior management advisor in the merger of CEIR, Inc. (Nasdaq) ($30 Million) into Control Data Corporation (NYSE) ($2.3 Billion) and helped define the operational integration of international professional consulting services providers. Mr. Wenig has worked with government agencies, diverse manufacturing firms and major financial institutions in the evaluation, design engineering, market analysis and strategic planning of technology systems, services and assets. He has worked in the United States, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and South Africa. He has held executive and managerial positions with Managematics, Inc. and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Wenig was the Editor of the PMI Journal from 1975 to 1978 and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
