Prior to joining Meredith Mergers Gene Revoner facilitated over 20 mergers and acquisitions in the Automotive Industry. From 1978 to 2001 he was with Daimler Chrysler and held several positions including: Senior Manager, Department Head of Business Process Engineering, Business Strategies & Worldwide Integration (1997 – 2001); Retail Development Manager, Sales & Marketing Division (1994 – 1997); National Marketing Executive, Sales Division (1993 – 1994); Senior Operations Manager / Director, Dealership Development Division (1991 – 1993); Senior Branch Manager / Director, Marketing Investment Division (1989 – 1991). While at Chrysler he: managed the turn-around of a portfolio of dealerships that went from a $50 million loss to a $550 million profit; achieved a 300% sales increase in creating the most profitable privately owned minority dealership organization worldwide; added $100 million in sales in one year by developing a just-in-time inventory system achieving 95% inventory turnover. He was also the architect of the innovative Carmax Franchise. Mr. Revoner earned his B. S. in History and Philosophy from the University of Arkansas.
